GW PvP guide ideas
I have a school project that let me choose whatever I want to do, so I made it "Creating a manual for Guild Wars PvP". Any ideas?
I mean, I have a list already, but I'd like to see comments.

A lot of the problems I see in some other gaming articles is that they are very image light. The old saying "a picture says a thousand words" is very true, and visual diagrams make things a lot easier to understand.
Cover the basics early, don't even touch on the complex stuff untill later (if at all).

I wouldn't suggest trying to cover everything in GW PvP, for that might take a while, espeiclaly the complex stuff and high-end stuff.

You can go over the basics like don't over-extend yourself so the healers can heal you, ect.

probably a good baseline would be data charts demonstrating the DPS of different weapons (warrior/assassin/ranger autoattacks even staff/wand autoattacks).
man to even go into more depth, assassin dps w/ varying degrees of daggermastery and critical strikes (I always wanted to know that kinda stuff)
hrm after that... i don't really know where you would take it... maybe a basic description of the classes -> what the classes are generally used for...
man this report is gonna be a monster if you actually do it... I would love to read it and give you feedback if you actually work on it
anyways good luck and its never too late to do something simper

There's alot of stuff to cover in the PvE character to PvP ready area.
You'd get alot of content describing the required armour, runes and weapons.
It's somewhat trivial but there's loads of information there.
I'm sure someone would find it useful.
But yes, make sure you cover the basics first.

Couldn't you just do the project on Dinosaurs or WWII instead?

Seriously, it would probably be a lot easier to do it on those subjects...
I'd suggest going to read some Calvin and Hobbes for ideas if you're going to do it on dinosaurs.

the best part is: you'll be doing your project on something you're very interested in (motivation), and something that your teacher probably have no knowledge on. basically, it is very, very hard for your teacher to actually fail you.

In which case he'll probably have to do lots of DPS charts comparing weapons.

Actually, the project is to do something that you enjoy doing, not related to any subject. The project's grade hinges on the evaluation, so I can just completely screw this up, and write a good evaluation and get a good mark.
But I'd like to actually do it, so...there goes. I think I'll post a...list of stuff I think I'll include. Later, haven't got it typed out.

I do not dare to make such a project to show it up front in class ( I got some GW haters in there, they're my friends, but I mention GW too much, so they get pissed off ). Also, girls won't like it ( the girls in my class would not...they rather gossip about boys )

One thing you better include is a glossary of terms.
Otherwise, no-one will know what the hell you are talking about when you 'kite the shock warrior while avoiding the AoE damage caused by an echo nuker'.
Doesnt make sense to anyone else but a GW PvPer
